When Peach Season Ends

Some of you may be wondering, “Who are these people outside of peach season?” We’d like to satisfy your curiosity by taking you behind the scenes and giving you a close-up look.

Farm Sunrise

We live on Liberty Ridge Farm which is located roughly 15 minutes south of Viroqua. Our parents and three of the siblings live here on 80 acres. As an in-law, I am very blessed to be a part of the beautiful family connection that has resulted from living in a tight community like this.

Chuck and Laura Kauffman (Pop and Mom), along with being owners of Eat Fresh Peaches, also own the farm.

Chuck is an RN and works the night shift at a nursing home.

He is the visionary of the family and loves nothing more than dreaming big and working toward providing a bright future for his kids and grandkids.

He, with Mom’s faithful support, has worked very hard to lay a foundation which his children can build upon.

Ted Family

Teddy is the farm manager and has a passion for working with the animals and the land. His goal for the farm is to build a profitable model that will make it sustainable for generations to come.

He raises pastured chicken that we sell off the farm, as well as supplying restaurants like Driftless Cafe and Maybe Lately’s.

He also has a herd of cows and sheep, which he plans to continue scaling.

Tabitha and I (Austin) moved to the farm in February 2024, and we are loving it!

Living here on the farm and working with my in-laws, I have developed a passion to connect people to the values they hold.

As you know, at Eat Fresh Peaches, we value premium quality peaches and are committed to providing people with the best possible customer service with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If you love our peaches, you will love what we offer at Liberty Ridge Farm, because it has been raised with the very same values.

I want to connect you with farm products that you can trust brcause you know the farmer.

You deserve the opportunity to feed your family meat that you have a personal connection to. Don’t to settle for food that depletes you and your loved ones.

Imagine what it would feel like, trusting in a farmer you actually know. Someone you can talk to face to face, ask questions, and get real answers from.

We are here for you. Here to help you be the guardian of your family’s health. Here to offer you real answers to your questions.

Sincerely,

 – Austin Kropf
